Blue Rose

The Blue Rose
secretly grows
upon a Hill of Heathers
where?
seldom do know

Songs speak of its
existence
but few have lived to see
its rich blood blue petals
smells of sweet ginger and honey

The legend has it
the blue rose can cure
a thousand different ailments
although, I am not
sure

My Grandmother told me
if you eat three petals
before you sleep
the disease which
infects, out of you
it will seep

Not many have heard
the powers of the
blue rose
for it secretly grows
where seldom
do know

Oh What a Fool Am I

Oh what a fool am I
when I alway's thought you'd
be right by my side

Oh what a fool am I
to have looked into
those baby blue eyes

Oh what a fool am I
to think that there was or
could be any other guy

Oh what a fool am I
in believing you could stop
the hurt and pain caused deep down inside

Oh what a fool am I
to stand here and think that one day
I would walk down the isle as your bride

Oh what a fool am I
that I won't one day
tell you one last goodbye

Oh what a fool am I
to stand here and just
look and watch the big blue sky

Oh what a fool am I
for wiping these tears
running down my eyes

Oh what a fool am I
blowing you one last kiss
and letting out a big sigh

Oh what a fool am I
For chosing to be
Oh what a fool am I

Little Diddly LOL

Is This a Dream Or Reality

Behind trapped doors lies a secret
Within all walls there's a person
Who's there can no longer be seen
What's its purpose to be here with me

I lie on my bed just wondering what it could be
Why all of a sudden there's a cool breeze
Questions fly through my mind all asking why
No answer to be said to me

I pray under my silk blue sheets
I close my eyes till I be blind and can't see
Put my hands to my heart and pray
god take it away, let it be gone

why has it taunt me in my sleep?
Why has it torture my dreams?
Give me courage to show no fear
Have you here with me?

I pray over again, nonstop
I hear a bell, a see a big bright light
The blue silk sheets pull away
Could this be right?

I sit on my bed questions fly through my head
All saying what the heck
I hear a voice across the room
" I'm here to help you"

I stand up and what do I see
Christ is here to help me
I've been saved and blessed
From thou savior himself

I think over again
Is this right?
It's all in my head
Open my eyes
I'm back on my bed

Clouds, Clouds

Clouds, Clouds!
So huge in the bright blue sky!
Sometimes you move way too slow,
Sometimes way too fast,
So white and fluffy,
Such a comfort from a distance so far!
Clouds, Clouds!
Oh how I want to be you,
Forever afloat in a stream that high!

Clouds, Clouds!
You are so beautiful!
Shielding the bright radiant colors in the big blue sky!
Sometimes you’re way too high,
And sometimes way too low!
So bright and pleasant,
Such wonderful colors shine through you!
Clouds, Clouds!
Oh how I want to be you,
A beauty that I could forever call mine!

Clouds, Clouds!
So real with your depictions,
Truly you take my breath away.
Sometimes you show it perfect,
And sometimes I have to think!
So white and fluffy,
Such pictures are drawn in my mind.
Clouds, Clouds!
Oh how I want to be you,
Forever I would have something to say!

The Circle Around the Flame

come poor come wealthy
come child born new, come in the twilight bored of the day
listen to my blue friends speak whispered voices
sometimes we converse in an implanted language...sent from heaven

come lost, come found
these days are the circus...and we are all the clowns

we'll tour down the whiskey river
but only when it is midnight

for 100 days and 100 nights we've traveled
just me and my blue friends
in that time we've escaped the world, the ground, every country
we are bound to no nation

come circled,come square
in the dark it's impossible to stare

step
step

come all and come now
glee faced or face dour
the trees whisper pains as they call us insane

Your Blue Hue

My feelings for you
Are like the color blue
Cool at first glance but
Dark like midnight
Midnight blue
Soft like a baby
Baby blue
Doesn’t describe the color of your blue hue
You’re more like
Aqua or navy or
Maybe cobalt blue
Like a soldier wears on the fields
Of a border
Protecting me and you
My feelings for you change
Like the oceans blues
Crystal clear and sapphire
But sometimes a shadowy
Indigo blue
Might describe the feelings
I have when
I’m left without you
And your brilliant blue hue

Charred

As each bitter thought takes wing
another bird forgets to sing
abandoned babe cries out alone
refugees chilled to the bone.

Leaves begin to curl and brown
cold winds whorl through empty towns
ghostly cats creep through the alleys
who will take the deadly tally?

Yard dogs staked and left to starve
scars upon the Earth we've carved
lonely waves still lap the shores
though the seabirds are no more.

Each bitter thought we send aloft
comes back to us at such a cost.

Around the world the death bells toll
the tattoo pounds through dying souls
heaven's gates are locked and sealed
and though we cry, they will not yield.

This blue planet was God's gift
ruined now, we're set adrift
mouths agape in silent screams
we walk the Earth 'til time unseen.

Blackened souls coagulate
clouds of demons, dark with hate
wails and curses fill the void
on our blue planet we destroyed.

Watercolors

It is painted in water colors
light blue spreading out the farthest
then comes light splotches of white
you can almost see the brush move
as pink and yellow are added
orange touches the bottom
blending with a rich red
baby blue is the backdrop
then comes the pink
its bottomed out by orange
above it lies a thin layer of purpilsh
which mixes with a darker blue than the rest
all which make up the one scene
slowly a green ridge is added to the set
dark and light mixing with just a few tints of black here and there
brown mixed in, adding to the life
a few touches of orange and reds
add color to what appears now to be trees
standing tall, proud on the mountain side
above it the mixed colors lay on the pallet
and a rosey outline of the ridge
very small you can see
a road rising over the hills
yellows mixed in to the side of it
to make the bittersweet grass
just a tiny line
it could be a river
except that it is black, or maybe dark brown
a dirt road, the only one around
paint smudges on the painters white sleeve
turn your head, to see who it may be
this amazing artist who made such life
come alive in with this color
peek, take just a peek
than look back to see, what else he had added
and allowed you to watch as he worked
-you peek and see He
the creator
do you see?
He
who do you think he may be?
now be good, and look to see his newest additions
whats that in the distance?
oh! it is a person i see
two people, you see?
it is you and me!
we blink, unable not to hold it back any longer
our eyes burning from the stare
and open them back up to look up
hoping to give the artist a curious look
but instead see
the water colors in the sky
that he painted above you and me
