Best Upliftingwork Poems
A long time ago this scene unfolded as I traveled from place to place
As I look back from my values I hold dear today, it's entirely a different race
Every persons walk is unique and holds many a lesson
Some to share openly and others are for confessen
Wake up somewhere in an alley behind a trash dumpster or in a doorway
Depends on your luck the night before if it was foreplay or poorplay
You may have scored a job to load delivery trucks with that smooth Gallo wine
That would net you a cool twenty and slip a bottle in the pocket made you feel just
fine
So when you got off work you had some money
But you didn't spend it on women because white port was your honey
You could rent a room for five dollars a day and buy peanut butter and bread
The rest for some wine or brandy or whiskey maybe a beer and you were totally fed
Now you were confident you likely had some work and pay every day
If you don't get sent out on a job you can sell blood was your ace the other way
Somedays you would switch and work during the day
But your style was no different you needed daily pay
So you worked at the slave market is what the common name is
Always minimun pay and very little quiz
You could have been a bank robber or a serial killer
Made no difference you just wrote on the paper what ever would fill er
No one was ever going to check to see if you had just graduated from Yale
Or had done something real bad and just got out of jail....
So once in a while you just wanted to change locations for no particular reason
Except maybe the biggest if you slept out you preferred a fair season
If it were two in the morning somewhere and you had the shakes
You knew how to locate a doctor down the alley and pay what it takes
So after many bus rides and alleys and stomach fulls and heartaches
I use a different doctor now and he's not in the alley, we play for much higher stakes
A birthday is a celebration of years past
A celebration of another year being you
A celebration of the person we want to last
A celebration of the things to come a new
I can celebrate just meeting you
I can celebrate that captivating smile
I can celebrate the thought of the future too
I can celebrate just thinking of you for a while.
Do take the day celebrating the person you are
Don’t work at home, cleaning, or folding
Don’t cook dinner or work in the yard
Do have fun with your family and watch what God is molding.
A step, a fall
I rise to fly.
A sit, asleep
I wake to work.
I fly to heights unseen
Uphigh, that low.
I work ernestly
So hard, un-noticed.
All I do,
All I give.
Almighty I for-seek.
So I seek and found;
A step, a fall
Hope, He besieges upon me
with each breath taken.
I rise to fly
For He is my Strenght.
A sit, asleep
In His hands my burdens I leave
His laps my comfort.
I wake to work
For His Grace abounds.
I fly to heights unseen
On His wings I soar.
Uphigh, that low
My upsets He trends to propel
high.
I work ernestly
Only He rewards my real wage.
So hard, un-noticed
His consent is more than
enough.
All I do,
All I give.
Almighty I found.

Sometimes you make me feel special,
And sometimes like a failer,
However, I keep being with you cause I love you,
And care about you no matter the faults,
Or friendship has been strong,
For so long that I feel this could be true.
Never give up on the one sure thing you have,
Because if you do,
You may regret it later,
For time always brings back memories of your past,
And your forgotten loves,
Make you wonder why it didn't happen,
Or what could have been,
And if it could have been better.
Always put your heart and soul into each relationship,
And make it work at any cost,
Because if you don't you may make them a past relationship,
Without trying too,
Even with all their faults and all the hard times,
Always look past the bad,
And work past the rough roads,
Because if you don't someone always gets hurt,
And remains blue.
Have you ever asked yourself the question where would you be...
If all day you slept or kicked it in the streets...
In a life made by you disappointed at me...
Because everyday I worked, because money looks better you see...
The moral of my story is you earn what you work...
So in order to avoid controversy you better dig for your worth...
However you do the work that you choose...
Pay close attention cause all work has its dues...
ASK GOD FOR GUIDANCE AND GOOD WORK YOU WILL CHOOSE...
So the next time you question where would you be...
Quit asking yourself and ask G.O.D...
