And so not knowing her I miss her terribly,
Of all the fire and possibilities,
Stuttering solaces,
The lake in the summer…
I want some, can I have some?

And so not knowing the lake I miss it terribly.
And I make many poems like this nowadays.
A poem not about a lake.
For Heaven’s sakes not a lake…

And so not knowing God I miss ________ terribly,
Of all the fire and possibilities,
When the angels are kicked out of the bar,
How the saloon doors swing in the breeze.
I want psalms, can I have psalms?

Spread truth across my face until I am rearranged into the carpet.
And so not knowing time I miss nothing.
