Rush

It use to be so fun,
Each year in the summer,
Every year,
Taking fun courses,
Making new friends,
But now I’m older,
It’s not so fun,
Each year by option,
But I don’t want to anymore,
Mom is too busy to take me out,
Switching jobs possibly,
Stressing out,
The house is a mess,
Renovation is on hold,
And it’s hard to stay afloat,
In that little boat on the rapids rush,
Everything is a mess,
And it’s hard to keep up,
Because everything is so confusing,
And it’s hard to stay afloat,
In that little boat on the rapids rush.
