As I suffer in silence
Depression grows deeper.
Picking my brain as
times get worse.
I'm stuck in this rut,
I can't break free.
The silence grows deeper,
As I suffer in agony.
Those around me,
Don't see my pain.
From one place to another,
My depression sinks in more.
I'm in a trance
That I can't get out of.
My pain is on the inside
Of my gut...
One more reason to
Lose it all...
My pride takes over.
What pride...I'm depressed.
The prednisone is
Eating me away.
One depressant
And I'm over.
This isn't over.
There's only a few
More days left.
As my suffering in silence
Lets up.
I will start to break free.
My agony turns to dust,
My depression fades away.
It's the prednisone that
kills me... into
Depresive pain.
Have you ever felt this feeling
Of heartache depression and hate
You used to think everything was alright
And now you’re questioning your fate?
Have you ever felt like leaving
Everything you’ve ever had
Because everything that was so good
Has suddenly turned bad?
Have you ever felt alone
While standing in the middle of a crowd
No one hears your cries of help
But you’re screaming all you’ve got out loud?
Have you ever felt like you were drowning
From all the tears you’ve cried
And every tear brings you back
To the nights your “friends” lied?
Have you ever felt the need to run away
And stay somewhere lying in the dark
That way no one can ever know you
At least well enough to break your heart?
Have you ever felt so dead inside
Like your whole body has been cut
Or as if someone took a knife
And stabbed you in the gut?
So please tell if you’ve ever had this feeling
Of heartache depression and hate
When everything used to be alright
And now you’re questioning your fate.
