Chances

Chances are actions one must take,
For every decision one must make.
Chances are like spinning a wheel,
And where that wheel stops,
 Determines your fate.
Chances are sometimes good,
And sometimes bad.

Chances are taken to make life better.
Chances are taken to make life worse.
Chances are from making a choice.
Chances are from one’s inner voice.
Chances are taken with every leap,
Every prance, every stance,
And every dance.

Chances are taken with every song’s verse.
Chances are taken in every innovation:
-Scientific or Supernatural-
Chances are taken with the birth of new nations.
Chances are taken with the birth of children.

Chances are taken and the very action,
Could lead to winning a prize.
Chances are taken,
When dust gets into your eyes.
Look at yourself;
You were and still
Are a chance.
Your parents took a chance,
For your very existence,
And in their romance.

People of all walks of life,
Take chances that could result,
In either bliss and joy,
Or pain and strife.
Chances are-
You are here today,
Because someone took a chance,
In such a special way.
