Best Philosophyfriend Poems
Life sways from side to side,
Like a hammock in the shade,
A twirl here and a twirl there,
A sudden burst of change.
A friend is lost,
Yet a friend is gained,
As life seems to work,
In a mysterious way.
Moving so fast,
Up and down,
Like a speeding coster,
All around.
If it were not for our human attributes;
good nature,
loving attitudes,
loving relationships,
caring personalities,
and too our love for the Lord.
We might be on this earth,
no more than an unorganized cluster of ants,
to follow one another, never knowing which way to go.
Thus, loosing our way and ending up in solitude,
without a loving friend nearby.

In this poem I am refering to Intellegence vs Instincts.....I posted this poem on another
site...a few have made comments that the ant is organized--- does know where it's going
ect. It is the reason that they do things different compared to humans....If you've ever seen
a string, or line of ants and put your foot in the middle of the line....They scatter for survival,
because that is their instinct to react to that situation...because they are not intellegent as a
human....They do not gather together as humans or grab hold of a friend for help...to
survive as we do....They do not marry! ect.
So as humans we tend to form realationships, friends, aquaintences, (even sometimes in
certain circumstances strangers gathering together to survive) form religions, clubs ect. We
do this because we have intellegence-- not just relying on our instincts as ants do. Insects
only know what they are doing because of their instincts. Humans however use intellegence
to make decisions. Sorry I had to explain my poem.
Sorry too that others disagree but that is life!! An ant doesn't have what it takes to disagree
now explain......
Once, there stood in the open sky
My teacher, my brother, my friend and I.
My friend saw an eagle suddenly dive
Onto a little dove and swallowing it half-alive.
My friend sadly said, Oh, what a bad time”!
“What was this little lovely dove’s crime”?
My teacher said, “Its crime was that it was weak
And had not the same claws and similar a beak!!!
