Down In the Magic Town

Way down yonder in the magic town
You'll find me in the company of a tragic clown
He's a brother of men
He's a weaver of dreams
And he's never quite saying how it really seems

I like to walk with him and we'll talk for awhile
Then he breaks open with that mystical smile
Then you want to run from him
'Cos you know that he knows
The more the heart bleeds, the harder it grows

So I walk around in the magic town
And I'm doing okay 'cos he can't be found
He lied to me
And he ran his game
This magic town will never be the same
