Twisted Avenger Tragedy In Alabama

Gray the sky grew,
And darker still in hue.
How could anyone know when the day began,
So many would never see the sun rise again.
So many the Lord did decide to take,
A trail of destuction the Twister left in its wake.
The winds twisted and blew,
Leaving a path of lost souls when it was through.
To terror many did awaken,
For many of their kin was taken.
When the sky turned blue again,
It was to many resounding voices whispering Amen.
Not all that prayed for relief,
From their grief...
Were as lucky as some,
For many were called to their eternal home.
So when we look back upon this day,
We will still pray...
That the many lost have found their way...
To the Pearly Gates and entered therein,
All due to the unruly winds.
When we remember this day,
Let us bow our heads and pray...
For the wonderous souls we lost,
And may we never forget the cost.

Storms

Out in the distance thunder rolls
the wind it howls like poor lost souls,
The rain it pounds like angry fist
across the land it falls like mist.

Inside this house I sit alone
I've lost my power, internet and phone,
While outside the storm continues to rage
not stopping for an eternal age.

Nature does what nature will
we have no control over it still,
it seems so very awful funny
we can't control it with all our money.

Fields of Flowers

Fields of flowers

That I walk with you

Hand in hand

Love

Spilling through

In my heart,

Such colour

For you

In my heart,

Spilling through

Fields of flowers

That I walk with you

The rising sea

Within me

You see it too

Rising tide

Deep inside

The walk with you,

In fields of flowers,

You want it too

The suns' golden haze

In a field of flowers

Left me in a daze

The lost hours

The colour continues to amaze

The colour spilling through

My heart, for you

Pale pink and red

In the field of flowers

Onwards I tread

I have lost the hours

In the field of flowers

Such colour for you

I have lost all the hours

My time,

I spent with you
