Our Garden Grew and Grew

It took two people
to plant a seed
for the garden I
promised to nurture
and feed

The planted seed,
small and minute
transformed through
stages as my garden grew

Water and sunshine
on a daily basis is
how it got so sweet
caring and weeding
of the garden is where
it got it's strength

Two weeks early my
garden was ready
And on May 15, we
harvested our baby

Year after year our
daughter shines bright
and it all started with a
seed planted in a garden
one night
