Best Lifetogether Poems
You only good as you reciprocate
But sometimes the warning comes too late
Years of lust and years of yearning
Time to go though im still learning.
Out of my comfort I’m scared to seek
Stuck together because im too weak.
We all joined together on this chain
Trying to get through this pain
Everybody breaks
I still wake.
What Would It Take?
How can two different types of people,
Learn to live together in peace?
What would it take,
For the hatred for each other to cease?
Why can’t all of God’s people,
Learn to live together in one land?
What would it take,
For all nationalities to join hands?
Why should one be judged,
By the color of their skin?
What would it take,
For acceptance to begin?
How can we teach our children,
The importance of toleration?
When they don’t see the example,
From the parents of this nation.
Complete strangers
Then to co-workers
Working together we started to talk
At first I didn't reveal myself
But as time went on
I slowly revealed little by little myself
As did you
We found common interests
and became friends
We found that we could
talk to each other
and there it would stay
We also discovered
that together we could have a blast
and still be half-ass professional
I'm sure customers will never forget
our dancing, our laughter, our personalities
I know I won't ever forget
