Hope

The breeze of hope will blow away the deep foliage of despair
Hearts in blue funk a bright scintilla of earnest hope will mend and repair
A new dawn embarks on the streets where once darkness dwelt
Bow down to the Mercy of Mother Nature to which the world Knelt
A breeze of hope gently caress the coldest despair.

Premium Member Cheer Up! All Hope Is Lost!

When things don't go as planned and life seems unfair,
'Tis easy for others to rally about cheering, "Hang in there!"
As you struggle to regain your feet at any reasonable cost,
You'd rather not hear, "Cheer up my boy! All hope is lost!"

When far from safe haven 'midst the billowing waves,
And desperate mariners pray for salvation from watery graves,
Drowning men are apt to scoff at the captain's strange accost,
Who bravely proclaims, "Cheer up me laddies! All hope is lost!"

The crew have completed their raid and are homeward-bound,
Cruising at forty-thousand feet, shells exploding all around!
Three engines sputter and die, excess equipment is tossed.
The pilot calmly says, "Cheer up men! All hope is lost!"

The unsinkable Titanic raced across the bounding main,
Meeting an immoveable iceberg, which was to be her bane!
'Tis hoped that Captain Smith's final words were other than,
"Cheer up! All hope is lost!," as their eternal bourne began!

This little verse was written with strictly tongue in cheek!
There are better ways to express hope when things look so bleak.
Stand up and boldly state when others waver and blindly grope:
"Cheer up, my good men! Cheer up! We'll never lose our hope!"

As I Couldn'T Wait For Hope

My tools are my hope, I can't sit:
The fuel with which my faith is lit
Diligence is dog's size in sight
Faith is the internal fight might

Rust! My tools are rust, I'll get spray;
Despair must leave, workers let's pray
Here lies our blessing in disguise
My seeds feed on tears from sky's eyes

Harvest! My field deluge not moist;
When hope returns, my flag will hoist.
As I couldn't wait, Hope knocks at my door:
"It's Hope, take baskets and fill your store"

Love-Agian and Agian

you are with the wrong one...
your never going to be happy...
she is going to use you...
until her love comes back.

you can never forget
your feelings for your first love...
I guess thats why I
still love you...

and I still hold on to that hope
that maybe someday
we will be together
agian...

its highly unlikely
probably impossible
but....
anything can happen

know that i love you
and that i still care
cuz you were my first love
and its only fair...
i will love you till my heart stops beating...
and i know you dont love me back...
but i still love you...
i really hope you see that..

Joplin--The Town That Hope Built

HOPE is Helping and Serving,
HOPE is Here!
HOPE is Living and Breathing,
HOPE is Near.
HOPE is Rising,
Reach up for me!
HOPE is Giving,
HOPE is Receiving,
HOPE is Loving,
HOPE is Believing,
HOPE is Redeeming
For all to see.
HOPE is Hoping,
Dont give up on me.
HOPE is Persevering,
HOPE is Endearing,
HOPE is Praying,
HOPE is Cheering.
HOPE will not Fade,
HOPE will not Wilt;
For this is the town that HOPE built.
HOPE built it Before,
and HOPE will build it Again.

The Thunderstorm

THE THUNDERSTORM
Awesomely adoring was the rain
She cries out in furious torrent
Her pains came forth with the lightening
The thunder announced her sadness
Erupting emotions long repressed
 How unceremonial was her demise
Without gunshot in the hollows

Terrific! Terrific!! Terrific!!!
Beaten blue-black
And lament, but my travail escalates
The ozone fares no better:
She laughs brightly as my pain up-beats
So enmeshed in agony

Certainly she’s lost no sight of hope
Though crave for the final moment
Meanwhile, eternal hope keeps me in the bondage;
Yet, how could it have been known!
As to marry even in lamentation
But always keep hope in sight
For she would finally arrive

Hope

I look back at her
                                    at the girl I used to be
                                        blind to the future

                                         and yet she saw it
                                   for a moment, a small glimpse
                                        of who she could be

                                          Hope was all it was
                                    and hope was all it took her
                                           to change everything

Rain

sorry i havent been on for a while, but i hope u like my new poem.

Rain

Rain falls steadily on the face,
cool drops mixing with tears.
But these tears that pool in
eyes, flowing down cheeks
like waterfalls, are not those
of sadness. No these are tears
of hope. Hope that this rain will
wash away sadness.

Already it is working,
the water carrying away the
despair. Hope floods with the
rain, hope that it will continue
pouring its cleansing drops.
And that out of it, a beautiful
Rainbow will make itself seen,
showing its beauty to all who need it.

Only Because He Was Here

Washed light
Climbs bright
Through  the airy branches
of
The Highest Trees
Blessing, anointing
Proclaiming
'' yes , there is still hope for me.''

Bright blossom of hope
Unchained
Unlimited
Beauty omnipotent

Love

In peace love sows the farmers’ seed
In war he lets the brave heroes bleed
In balls and dances a flamboyance seen
In ghettos and cities a happy dancing serene
For love rules the rich the city and the poor
For love is hope and hope is heaven

Hope For Dreams

Flowers of hope and hope for dreams,
Shed trust of hope for silly schemes;
When all the world is spinning around,
And trust and hope are lost not found.

As we strolled through the meadow rue,
When all was false and nothing true;
You turned your timid eye to gaze,
On trust and hope through misty haze.

Yet we are shadows that waste away,
Souls that know not how to play;
For our body is gone but spirit is not;
And the sorrow is, we've never been taught.

On the street where dreams drift by,
Where children dance and mothers cry;
When silence rests so chill and deep,
To chasten death and lull to sleep.
