Some of Us

SOME OF US 9/9/00

Some of us started out strangers, we come from all walks of life
Some started out single with one thing on their minds
Several will wed, some already had a wife.

Some are family men with the ideal family to guide
Some are homeless lacking proud.
Others just single fathers, while others just in it for the ride.

Some are head strong, some just full of themselves
Some open minded, some knowing and very wise
Some looking for a pat on the back, some waiting for a prize
Some not feeling it at all, and some are full of lies.

Others find everything in a book, some hear a poem, or listen to a song
Some speak of their family heritage, their whole life long.

While others to shy to come out of themselves for fear that they won’t have the courage.

Some just don’t care to participate at all
Some just don’t give a darn, and why?
What we do in life is an expression of ourselves
So how can we go wrong, if we try.

In God’s eyes none are better than the other
If we stick if out as a whole, we will all be God fearing, my brothers.
