I Have a Dream

I have a dream that someday
I will be able to feel free,
of all my cares and worries
and show just who I can be.

I have a dream that someday
I will really enjoy my life,
and learn how I can become
a better mother and loving wife.

I have a dream that someday
I will be able to face my fears,
and overcome my troubles
I have carried all these years.

I have a dream that someday
something good will head my way,
if I keep going like I have been
I will never see that day.

I have a dream that someday
I can make it on my own,
have the courage and the strength
to change without feeling so alone.

The Humanitarian

I dreamed a dream so vivid and true
Lucid, this magical woman just happened to be you.
Offered hand, selfless as you embraced my fears
Kindness overwhelmed which led to my tears.

Still apprehensive, how thoughtful you are
You cherished me, as much as I cherish a falling star.
Blessed and valued by your eternal embrace
With you, all my problems, now I can face

Feeling your tenderness as we fly up high
Warmth from your heart, tears parched as I cry
Why do you care so? Encased with your affection
Adoration for all, good or bad, no-one feels rejection

How you shine, you hold the key to humanity
Civility to all, how your honesty led me to Christianity
Pure sincerity from your soul, an amazing grace
Polite, moral manors that is needed in the human race

Now I must leave and wake to the bitter land
I found respect from my dream, like you, I’ll offer my hand
Spreading the word, that graciousness to all is pure love
Hand in hand to a peaceful place, that’s the dream from up above.

I love you Nan, thank you for your inspiration
With your help from heaven, I’ll carry on with my salvation
You gave me the number nine to be a Humanitarian
Knowing how people will turn against this, the contrarian.

O My Dream Girl

You well come one in a walk of love feeling the breeze around my body hearing your voicing
echoing, vibrating through my ears.
You well come with your amazing mind beauty want no one can explain.
you are my dream girl one who can't be found, you may not come , o beauty of my dream
but be all ways in my mind until the end.
But love is still to come

The Dream and the Whisper

I had a dream
A beautiful dream
I could only whisper it
Anymore than a whisper
It would break
It was that fragile
It couldn’t be touched
For it would crumble
It’s like it wasn’t my dream
Yet it was

The dream was
Sweeter than honey
And better than wine
I felt like a sciencetist
Cause I found the dream
The dream that was whispered
The whisper of the dream

I didn’t dare say
Anymore than a whisper
For if I did
The dream would leave
No longer
Would the dream be mines?
I loved that dream
So I let it go
Waiting for it to come….

Real Dreams

I could dream of living in an exquisite palace,
Blissfully and happily married to a prince,
The days and nights pass,
I dream on, God's blessing,
Clothed with the finest of fabrics,
Meeting with the elite populace,
My language refined and sophisticated,
There for all the important charities,
To ride stallions of the finest breeding,
A walk through the exquisite gardens,
Dinning at a huge elegant table with chosen companions,
To waltz on a New Year's Eve,
Wearing an elegant gown with my handsome tuxedo prince.
