Lone Cry

This is a cry from my soul and it's screaming,
I need someone to hold, no one is daring.
The moon floats alone it's cold and I'm trembling,
Can't eat, can't sleep, I'm weak and I'm crumbling.
If the Gods are not answering now,
Then they were never listenning.
Giving into the sorrow,
I walk around glowing.
The morning sunshine hits me in my eyes,
The intent was to burn my dreams alive.
If I strive and fall, I'll cover up with lies,
To disguise the feelings I hold inside.
Chin up, get up and try!
Smile with wide eyes.
get myself through the dirt of the day.
This cry from my soul it's not letting me go.
I've been beat down, put down and thrown in a hole,
Can't eat, can't sleep I'm weak and I'm low.
How low will i go to jump up and out?
This cry from my soul sings of strong notes,
I know it's there I can feel it everywhere.
I scream, I choke,
I breathe and try let go
The sadness will always be my reason for deep stare,
I'll always be there, I'll always be there.

Little One

Don’t cry little one
Everything is going to be alright
Just have to wait for a bit
Then the answers
You will see
Everything is going to be alright
Just keeping on smiling
Life is a lot of different things
But it’s not good
Just to cry about it
I know its going to be alright
Don’t give up on things
Cause you won’t know
What means more to you?
If you keep on crying
Everything is going to be alright
Keep on smiling little one
No more tears, little one

If I Cry

if I cry will you hold my hand
pull me close
let no harm come to me
will you protect me
keep me safe
even from you
and from myself
I trust you
I've placed my life
and my heart in your hands
if I cry will you prove worthy
