look and see... its not what we want, how much we have, or what we don't
Tess the season and all I see is frustration hard times and misery
rich am I for what I have...not the money or power I am in this depression too
but I see the angels and I see them here on earth showing us what we don't,
a helping hand, an open door, the compassion we all lost before this plight
a warm smile that embraces you and ensures you all will be alright
people you may or may not know they're for us they're here to keep us believing
in our hopes our dreams as they always have yes even before this plight,
you read about them in the head lines see them in the news they are here
these times our do to greed we lost our way lost our vision of what it should be
look around you have family and friends your health and time you have...
but you need...you need to be happy not worry you are like them and they are here,
smile to help another smile, extend a hand to help another get up you know you can
hold your child a loved one are just the moment it's what we have it's what we're missing
to just stop for one moment they're here in you and me in the eyes of others
take time enjoy the holidays with everyone we all need it and see... they are here.
I couldn't find the words but I just wanted to say it's not about the money we spend it's the
compassion we show to other that make it the most wonderful time of the year, happy
holiday to all.
Christmas with my family is so dear to me,for us to come together
as a happy family,we join together for this special day,we love our lord Jesus, have a happy birth day. The time we spend together on this holiday, is with love for one and other in our fathers way, he loves every one of us, he will see us one day soon, for us to cross his path beyond the glaring moon, he gave us time together to love every one far and near, so love each other completely...for this is the best time of the year.
I made a holiday
When I was 3
It was just because nothing was happening
But it became more to me
For years every may 7th
Was happy to be alive day
It was celebrated very special
It made me feel happy I was there in that way
But as I grew
The magic was lost
I want the specialness
It was what my childhood cost
It was a winter day in December, overcast and looking like rain.
The man at the store front was ringing his bell asking for donations.
Digging in my pocket for change and dropping it into the pot; I gave my last bit of change.
I could have bought a doughnut I thought to myself.
It's Christmas though and I offer my pennies as token to the gift we all have been given.
And believing in the power of giving back; I take my part.
And I sing my happy birthday song from my heart. Happy birthday.
You gave me truth and hope; and I give you devotion
And “Love”
The house now decorated, brightly so
With lights and adoration;
Bringing the season, happy times
To those with admiration.
A wish, I wish to give to you
So merrily this time;
A ho,ho,ho and some good cheer
All rolled up in this rhyme.
Please take with you the season’s warmth,
You’ll find it in the hearts
Of those who choose to smile for you,
Like fire in a hearth.
May each salutation that you speak
Be gracious and sincere,
For happiness and love flow easily
At this time every year.
May you get, for all that you wish,
But, be happy even more
May the season see you safe, my friends
From now and evermore.
