Best Forgivenessfire Poems
You stand there
waiting
For some made up opportunity,
some fantasy you dream of
and the disappointed hugs the outside
secrets fire up the joints
and I want to hit you.
I want to hit you and see you bleed,
so you can feel the hurt,
feel my need-
and I am tempted,
there's no restrictions now.
Crossed the fire exit door,
I listened to the sirens roar
as I jumped out the window off the 20 storey floor.
Now you only wish for it to be done,
you wish for the guilt to evaporate-
into dust-
but it can't.
I'll make sure to haunt every moment of your waking life,
and every secret I see hides behind those wolf eyes-
I will hit you,
except this time, after I've understood that they were always lies,
you'll cry.
