Little Girl

The little girl, that can't fend for herself.
The little girl that doesn't see reality.
The little girl that wants to come out.
The little girl that's constantly in doubt.
The little girl that can't stand you.
The little girl that doesnt stand a chance against you.
The little girl that you refuse to look past.
The little girl you said that grew up to fast.
The little girl you say is on the inside.
The scared little girl that won't reside.
The little girl that cries when she's alone.
The little girl that writes these poems.
The little girl that walks behind you.
The little girl that once became your shadow.
The little girl that once you get angry she runs and hides.
The little girl that cannot stand when you call her little girl till this day.
The little girl that tells you to leave but wants you to stay.

Daddy's Girl

They say that I'm a Daddy's girl
And I know that that this is true.
But I can't help it with a Daddy
As lovely as you.
You make me laugh,
We have such fun
So many good things we do.
I want to snuggle up
And cuddle up
And be a Daddy's girl with you.
And there's something else
And I know that this is true.
I'm not the only one
That thinks the world of you,
That wants to snuggle up
And cuddle up 'cause
(Mummy is a Daddy's girl too).

A little girl's tribute to her Daddy-Written for Father's day-19-june-

Daddy I Have Still Not Grown Up !

Today I turned up the door
On your face
I could see the fear
Coz I was heading in the race
And now I am realizing
That I did something
Which I never did before
Now I don’t talk to you
Don’t share with you
Don’t play with you
And now I just say you one thing
“Oh daddy your little girl has grown up”

Now when you catch my hand
While crossing the crowded road
I just say to you
“Oh daddy I can do it all alone”

And now I came to know
How you would be feeling
I am…
Off course you are not chilling
But what I want you to know is that
Your little girl has grown up

But still when I sit under the moon
I just want your company
The times when we talked
You teach me a lot more than I can think
And all I could say is

I am still your little girl
Who is beyond this materialistic world,
And daddy I really want you to hold my hand
While crossing the crowded road
Coz daddy I haven’t still grown up……………..
