Best Fatherday Poems
So far away, already too late
I was thirteen years from birth, you were thirteen days from death.
The enemy you once thought you could defeat, t was who you lost in this battle of fate.
Like a gambler and his debt I am stuck to this idea of regret
We walk side by side day in and day out, he won't let me forget.
Head was full of anger, mind was full of hope
Blame and sorrow rose to the top and right before my eyes,
it all poured out in front of me.
A puddle.
A puddle shaping into anything and everything it's surroundings allow
The cracks, the dirt, the rocks are boundries put there by fate, the puddle's an invisable gate.
It forms into a blurry image, a reminder of how it all used to be.
It calms, the image settles and finally my reflection is clear, now I can see.
Thousands of words unsaid play over and over like a broken record stuck inside of my head.
What words must I say, how much must I pay, to get back what fate took away?
It's impossible to walk past this without getting wet.
I am left with a puddle obstructing the view of what my eyes should see and the path that
leads
me to being free.
What a beautiful day it would be, the day fate brings you to me.
You Pretended to be
As a predator you
Watched
Waited
Striked
Your ruthless hungry feed of the blood of the new
Satisfying your frustrations because of your mistakes
With each second of your day you molded them into what you wanted them to be
A Book one after the other filling each page with a controlled evil from your hands
and mind
Making sure that each strike of your hand on the book satisfied your demented mind
Angry with who you are you created these books filled with empty pages with doubt
You filled them with stuck ways and confusion of independence
Stories of misfortune and empty love
Shamelessly completing your endeavors by using these books as your slaves
Not giving love just because
Only giving love to make sure that the Silent Screams remained silent
Yet you never thought before you started creating your story in these books
You never thought that these Silent Screams would one day burst into motion
Letting out sound and vindication
Now you sit scared for your life
Your history hunting you every day
For what laid behind each book cover was anger and a thirst for justice to be
served against you
Those Silent Screams from the new has cried out against you
Now you're going to pay by the hands of the law
Because with time doing what's wrong will catch up to you
You live each day looking over your shoulder
One day your world will fall and crumble
All because you couldn't be humble
Showing no love beyond that irrational mind of yours
You lose
what did I do wrong
when did I hurt you
when did I become
this horrible person
you make me out to be?
you make me feel dumb
you make me feel stupid
you make me feel like
im always just in your way.
when did this all happen?
where did the good days go?
was I sleeping while you read me a book?
of did I just blink one too many times?
I hope one day you realize
that im not that bad a person.
I hope one day you will appreciate me
for being me.
I hope one day you realize
the hell you put me through.
