I love to see the children and the youths going to school
In their uniforms looking so smart and cool
Shirts and blouses all tucked in
Pants, bags, socks and the shoes matching
Hair combed and hair styled, these really enhance the love that is here for you
I really love to see the children and the youths going to school
When the children rise according to the school rules
Parents, please make sure they have a nutritious breakfast too; this will prevent
them from thinking about food, and focus more in and on the classroom
It’s amazing to see the slim, fat and chubby children and youths going to school
looking so sharp and smooth
I just love to see the children and the youths going to school
As for you children who pull the mini suitcases be careful how you drive your
vehicles going to school make sure you have your books, spare pens and pencils
too; don’t for get your tools.
Education depends on reading, studying, and comprehending
There goes a flight attendant! - “You really remind me of one of them, fi true”
I love to see the children and the youths going to school
Don’t waste you time idling when you’re at school but master the golden rules
Be literate, not illiterate
Write legibly, not illegibly
Become eligible, not ineligible
Obey your teachers; look out for the bad friends and company they can let you lose
your goal
I really love to see the children and the youths going to school
They’re such a blessing, “tech a prips!!”
Look how sweet they are going to school
Now, I am sorry, I have to start all over because I used to hide from some
classrooms
I just love to see the children and the youths going to school
To all of the grandest of wizards of the ku klux klan
as well as to all of your members be they woman or man.
To all hate groups worldwide and through out America's great land.
Prepare for your own extinction. It will be delivered by your own hand.
With great risk of offending The Neanderthal,
you're all much like they were and like they you will fall.
Neanderthals didn't have the ability to learn any new knowledge.
If they were with us today, I doubt you'd see many in college.
You lack that same ability to open up your mind and learn.
Your ignorance has damned many of your children to death and/or prison,
never again to return.
Your convictions breed hatred, stupidity, ignorance and worse.
I truly understand. It's your hereditary curse.
You keep alive the concepts of hatred and racism
by passing this stupidity on to your innocent children,
but in time all of your children will one day leave your nest
and make some very brave decisions not in your best interest.
They'll learn that the concept of race is not only morally divisively strong,
it's a concept that has been scientifically proven wrong.

In Florence, SC, there is quite a place
Where Down’s children go to face their concern
Ray Turner had an idea to embrace
Give them a motive like earn while they learn
Ray had a business by name of Trayco
Furnished many repair parts to plumbers
The building, next door easy to get to
A school filled, taught no letters or numbers
They learned to pack repair parts in boxes
Success, each celebrated with a scream
Each level ranked by questions...responses
Graduation came with a check and ice cream
Down’s syndrome children a very sad thing
They learned to be proud and dignity sings

The silence of years I break now
That I should not die entwined in pain
For I have lived this savage vow
To be a man, and pure against your stain
You use words and stories
Like false ladders of Jacob to the sky
Changing moods for sympathies
That cannot your coldness pry.
I am a man, and father of few, but must
Bear the sin of father of all
Sin I did not father you, nor fenced the lust
That torments you at the slippery wall
I gave my all to you, which you claim
To the world as your effort of your sweat
And before my children spoiled my name
Who surrendered more than you forget.
But O the gall, the bitter gall and sleep
Bruised, for I did search for my blame
To be your puppet once again. I leap
To die, and found in it truth, so I keep
Still my manhood beyond my pain
Missed only my children in your chain
Waiting like a chrysalis to rise again
And loll in sunshine of joy's domain.
Yet, I break not silence for self alone, but
For children now and after lynched by disaster
Who must crawl through misery and the rut
Without understanding, I pour too my alabaster
Bringing praise tongues swaddled in lies
Through the scourge of malice and lies, defying
The expectation of jealous eyes
I come, against recall's rage, exemplifying.
