Crystal- Her Noble Name

We are not the same… no shame
 I love her golden grains and game;
Her name and game flows like fame
And her pens and poems you cannot tame

We are from different races… reality
Yet I crave her colors and creativity
Every time I soar to her sights and sound city
My pen do praise her art and alacrity

We’ve all got pleasant, passionate pages
Yet her scripts are signed by sincere sages
Her poetry pictures are immortal images
That earns her wisdom and wonderful wages

…and Crystal is her noble name,
her aim and game burns with fire , not flame.
in my heart I see her poetry picture frame;
she’s got a friendly face…she’s a darling dame

My Eve Forever

We are not the same, not naked… no shame
 We tend the golden grains… our game;
My Eve’s name and game flows like fame
And her pens and pleasures you cannot tame

We are from different races… reality
Yet I crave her colors and creativity
We stroll without sights in this sound city
My pen do praise her art and alacrity

We’ve got pleasant, passionate pages
Yet our daily scripts are signed by saintly sages
Oh! my Eve’s poetry pictures are immortal images
That earns her wisdom and wonderful wages

…and Crystal is her noble name,
her aim and game burns with fire , not flame.
in my heart I see her poetry picture frame;
she’s got a friendly face…she’s a darling dame

Christie Moses

To beloved Christie Moses,
A mind so pure and sharp.
Nestled in your stanzas,
Lies the beauty of your heart.

For you are the stove,
  That keeps poetry soup warm.
Writing from your soul,
  In many styles and forms.

The wordplay’s astonishing,
Each poem is sweet and subtle.
The romantic flow of words,
  On every poem cuddles.

The fragrance of your writing;
Fresh like a bouquet of roses.
This poem’s for poetry soup’s,
  Beloved Christie Moses.

...And Her Noble Name Is Carol Brown

We are not from the same race…running a race
She’s got golden grains and guts with God’s grace
Her name and game flows like fame in her face
...her pen, pad and poems are has gotten a pride of place

We are from different races and realms of reality
Yet I crave her courtesy and colors of creativity
Every time I roam in her sights and sound city
I praise her proud pen and her art and alacrity

We have all got pleasant, passionate pages
Yet her sacred scripts are signed by sincere sages
Her poetry pictures are perfect packages
That earns her wealthy and wonderful wages

… and her noble name is Carol Brown!
She is a creative queen with a courteous crown,
She gives all her poetry princesses a gorgeous gown
And trains her poetry princes never to fear or frown.

"introduce Me"

Hi my name is Teresa my friends call me big T.
I'm crippled with Muscular dystrophy.
I'm unable to walk or write my name.
Life is hard but there's no one to blame.
I thank God for my poetry that I write.
Also for my friends on those poetry sites.
Some days I'm sad and I need to cry.
Some days I'm happy and don't know why.
My husband and family dry my tears.
They're the reason I have no fears.
My love for them is why I hold on.
Hope I'm their treasure when I'm gone.

The Man (A Tribute To Brian Strand)

Gentility and strength
Rolled into one
A teacher of many
Enemy to none

Exposing the light
Of beauty and heart
Guiding the world
To explore the arts

Ravenous hunger
For the finer things
Passion and desire
Soaring on wings

Sharing of self
Van Gogh or Monet
A writer or painter
Poetry or play

Find in his words
Truth and loyalty
He is seen here
As if royalty

We all know him
A wonderful man
Poetry Soup’s
Sir Brian Strand

~Brian Strand causes many to pause, ponder, and create everyday. I admire his eye for the
finer things and the passion for the arts that he not only possesses but shares with the world.
There are many wonderfully gifted writers here at the Soup and he encourages all to dig
deep and put forth the best of their soul. He is a leader in the community, a true trend setter.
I appreciate all that he shares in his poetry and his blogs. He literally challenges me to be a
better writer and for that I am thankful.
