He doesn't deserve your laughter and I don't deserve your tears. If it's not your heart
that he's after then why do you keep him here?
He says hello from a distance but never close enough to hear the words. He's got a
mellow, cool resistance to any love for him that you have inside that burns.
He has you at your all and I have you all in pieces. He's the reason that you fall and
I'm the one that sees it.
He makes you laugh. He makes you cry. He fills you up. He bleeds you dry.
You want what you can't have and he has what he doesn't want and I'm stuck pretending not
to give a damn as I watch you crumble as you give this man your heart and your affection.
And for what? A small part of his attention?
You're just a body, someone to fill an empty space. Do you think that you're the only
one? Do you think you won't be replaced?
He knows just how to play you, to keep you coming back for more. And you know just what
he's doing but still you wind up at his door.
Why do the undeserving get to be lucky? Why do the wicked get rewards. Why do you pass
on the good ones just to go back to the ones before?
But you mean too much to me to just let you suffer with a feeling like this could never end.
So despite all of this drama I still want to be a friend.

People hold judgements close to their hearts.
Some judgements are not nice.
Others think highly of this man.
I have had this delima the last few day,s
Everyone says I should not care and to stay away.
How do I not care if this man is so dear?
How do I not care when he is who I am?
How should I handle the word cancer as it flows from his lips?
I know he messed up big I am not condoning it.
This is the man who brought me up.
This man never walked out when my mother left,
he stuck around for years after that.
I saw him just the other day he was all dark and gray.
The cancer is taking over his body every day.
here i sit to watch and see,
just how long this father will have to be to me.
What a sad sight for all involved when there is nothing that can be done.
I guess God will call upon he when his time has come!
