God's Butterfly

Your life ended crumpled and disillusioned like a butterfly in God’s hand.
Little did you know much was at stake.
When you drove the stake to the heart of your fate.
Never knowing the embraces or love you so wanted was there even before you had passed on.
The streets cry now with a shamed despair and regrets for you that has faded.
A shimmer of a star you were is now shining up above us.
What you thought was your release of hope has become everyone’s sin.
As you sat alone dwelling in the blackness of your demons.
Not noticing the angels crying for your soul.
How did your mistakes swallow you whole.
To think a child of seventeen , only feeling life’s hate instead of hope.
Now we all hold our heads down low and cry with shame.
Maybe only if we had open our eyes and saw your hurt choking you.
Now everyone cares and it’s too late, where was the support you need.
It’s too many lives late.
Today I write for a boy who no one knew or cared.
May he be remembered as a memory, a regret, a secret, or a true love so true.
There are no words I can say just this thick broken down silence.
It rains down on all of us.
Mike, I wish you could see how much your family, friends and teammates miss you.

Ill Have To Learn

I wait and i wait but still you dont come
I cry and i cry until the day is done
I try to live in the past
You said forever but forever doesnt last
Its hard to let go
But in my heart i know
Ill have to learn
The tides will turn
And soon i will forget my pain
Until i can be with you again

White

READ BLACK BEFORE THIS. IT WILL
MAKE FOR A BETTER READ!!!

White
Some have seen black
They are the ones without hope
Run to the light you who are alone
Experience white
Here you can find peace
There pain and turmoil fill the endless abyss
Here you will rest
If only you choose to follow
Hide in the blackness if you must
COWARDS!
All of you!
Too familiar, this blackness
 And so alienate yourselves
Why?!? Can't you see the warmth, the comfort
If only you would trust
But no, you live
In fear and shadow
Because you've chosen the darkness
Forever will you be in turmoil
So easy it could be
All you must do is grasp the thread of hope
Ah!
Only inches from your grasp,
Yet millions of miles from your understanding
Without understanding, there can be no trust
Until you trust, there will be no relief
For your weary, aching soul
You cry out
"Oh to leave this pit and join those who truly
know!"
You gaze into the white
While all of the enlightened ones
Stare solemnly back
"You have chosen to live in fear and darkness,
because you failed to take the simple step
of trust,
       this will be your demise."
And suddenly,
SNIP!!
The thread that once shined
In your abyss of despair has vanished
And with it your only chance
As you cry and moan
You hear a voice
"Go, warn others like you so they may avoid
your fate."
Obediently you follow the voice
Inside your head
Then, the ground has vanished
You are tumbling head over heels
Deeper into the pit
But you no longer care
For you avoided..

A Smile From the East

A smile from the East

Dying man he is
searching for a cup of water
Water is there and cup is there
None is there to give it to him
His throat and tongue cried for it
He is motionless as a broken idol
His wife and children are there to cry and
his friends and pals are talking there
His thirst and need cannot be expressed
He died of thirst with their weeps and cry
What is there? and what did they do?

At his last thirst in his last bed
Car and money girl and friends
will do nothing there
Your own will and heart are to be blessed
to have your needs in your last bed
He smiles from the East and
He will warn you
If you realize this safer will be you
