On a cool summers' night 
I want the butterfly effect 
To satisfy my appetite 

I want money for taking 
with no strings attached 
I want the best things in life 
Not a lotto ticket to scratch 

I want summer all the time 
No winter cold or winter drear 
I want to see the glass always full 
watch the bottom disappear 

I want so many things 
I've lost in the past 
Sometimes I want so much 
I forget what I have 

I want love unconditional 
No drama or games 
I want passionate nights 
And for you to scream my name 

I want what I can get 
And sometimes that ain't much 
But most of all, I want:
