Children Are Precious

Children are Precious

Children are precious
They are gifts from God above
We must nurture them
And shower them with love.

Children need guidance, support, discipline and God’s grace
When they are younger, we must help them tie their shoelace.
We must teach them what’s right and what’s wrong
We must watch their shows with them and listen to their songs.

We have to make sure that they’re on the right track
We have to make sure they have food on their table and clothes on their backs.
We must provide for their physical needs and their emotional needs too
We must often praise them and spend time with them
And we must teach them that when it comes to serving God and reaching goals
They should always stay true.

From the Heart of a Deaf Child

What a welcome I received when I arrived on earth
People all around the world were excited by my birth
After nine long months of growing the day finally came
For me to make my entrance and receive a brand new name
Everyone was happy their hearts were filled with cheer
Until the doctor told them that I couldn't hear
All the joy I had seen when I came into the light
Was now interrupted by faces filled with fright
My parents could not hold back tears
But I could clearly see
They didn't care that I was deaf
I knew they wanted me
They knew that God had special plans
To use me like I am
Whether I can hear or not I'm still His little lamb
As I grow up in the world as hard as it may be
I know the Lord is on my side and He will help me see
That I'm a special masterpiece created out of love
Sent to earth to fulfill the plans of God above
Even though I can't hear I'm as special as can be
And with God's help I'll do my best to make you proud of me

My Little Star

l held an angel in my arms
His smile pierced my heart
His eyes shone on me
He held my hand l held his
I found peace what a serene night
l pleaded to God dont let him leave me
the reason why l smile the smile from the heart
My bungle of joy
My one true love
lf l knew in the future l would meet him
l would not have tarried
l would have lived with a song in my heart whispering through the night
"Thank you Jesus"
You are an angel
you shine up my whole life
God gives and you are God given
Little star shine shine in the night
rise higher and higher till you reach the heavens
Go tell the moon to keep you safe
Or else l lose my breath
You give hope to my hopefuless soul
Grow more and more
you are in God's hands

The God of Creation

Who created the skies and the holy heavens?
And made the world so wide and wonderful
To be inhabited by men, beast and ravens.
The God of creation!

Who made the sunshine and the rain?
And sends the roaring storms and rainbow;
Who gives the harvest’s golden grain?
The God of creation!

Who made the fine flowers in the garden?
And gave room for thorns and thistles
Who made some beast free and some laden
The God of creation!

Who made man and beast male and female?
And gave them power to play and procreate
Who made them strong … feeble and frail?
The God of creation!

Who made our mothers mild and mindful?
And our fathers, firm, free and faithful
Who gave them children charming and cheerful?
The God of creation!

Who made everything bright and beautiful?
And gave them, life, space and seasons
Who made all creatures cute and colorful?
The God of creation!
