Where it says ' It takes a village to raise a child! ' it's a ststement that's true! Where
a community can come together to share their problems for a while. Is only a time I knew.
You see, it was not just only a community. It was something more than unity of many races.
The parlors,grocery and markets were the people I was blessed to know in those places.
Love and values were the molding part of my life's journey. From the ones who came and
gone and left a part of them with me. It took a community to become a family. That's why
as a child everyone their was uncle and aunty.But then years has passed and seasons come
and gone. So as the people on Mc Donald St. moved on. Homes becoming Offices, Casinos and
Car parks were the changes that Happen then. But the love and values of Mc Donald Street
will always be with me like a familiar friend.
When i grow up i want to be a writer.

I don't no maybe to people im a complete stranger.
When i grow up i want to have three kids.
No ten!
I don't no it's up to my man.
When i grow up people will judge my reality writing.

You no it's not all about the looks.
When i grow up i want my mother to no i would take care of her no matter what shift.
When i needed a hand she was always there to lift!
When i grow up i want people to act they age.
Don't give up be happy you walked that stage.
Damaged people everywhere
Doomed to live without much fun
Instead they suffer so unfair
And pass it onwards to their young
Every generation hopes
That this time round we will improve
So our children laugh and joke
But sadly damage ploughs a groove
Children think they understand
That older people are defunct
But children grown are second-hand
Into adults now debunked
Still we cling on to our hope
That if we learn a different song
Something shifts along the slope
And we redress all that was wrong
