The Dentist

>>>>>>>When you hear the word dentist, most people shy away
It means getting work done, like i did yesterday.
A cavity appeared in my front upper molar
Sending pain from my head to my shoulder.

The dentist said, we can may be save the tooth
But with so much pain, i said please pull it out.
If that is your choice, then out it will come
For i know it must be pain full, and thats no fun.

With the freezing setting in, he ask how dose that feel?
I said thats much better now, the pain was so real.
The freezing has set, so its ready to come out
This is going to leave a space in your mouth.

Yes i know, as he wiggled it about
He said this one is stubborn, but it finally popped out.
O what a relief to have no more pain
Now i wont feel like i am going to go insane.

A small lecture was given on how to proceed
When you get home, this is what you will need.
I thanked them all for the job they had done
Now i can get back to having some fun.

In a Helpless Position

The worst position on earth, is not being able to help someone you dearly care about. To
sit on the phone and hear pain roar through your ear drums, pain you can't stop or even
help stop. Guilt is sucking me in, like an eye of a storm. And I'm being torn apart, like
a piece of paper. You constantly deny that anything is wrong with you but, after while you
crack, like a criminal being questioned. You pour out the causes of your pain and the
reasons you can't smile. All i can say, is that everything will be okay, but i can't make
you believe it......because I'm in a helpless position.
