LIZABETH SCOTT - A POCONO GIRL
Runnin from the Poconos, she's a little ahead of her time.
Goin where nobody goes, unless their wastin their time.
Lookin for someone to love, who won't throw her away.
Who'll never throw her away.

Runnin from the Poconos, she's a little ahead of her time.
Goin where nobody knows, she's just out passin her time.
Lookin for someone to love, who won't put here aside.
Who'll never put her aside.

I'll always love her.

Every star in Hollywood
got a little piece of her light.
Every hero on the screen
Got a little piece of her mind.

Pocono girl.

Who would have some flowers for her hair?
Bring to her some flowers for her hair.
Who would see the love deep in her eyes?
You could have the love in her eyes.

I'll always love her.

Pocono Girl.
