Pain Be Gone

So be it then, the pain I shall endure
How I wish this loneliness was no more
This window’s closed and the door locked shut
While I sit with my eyes affixed to the floor

Though sounds exist, outside this home
I am prisoner to loneliness, this dire tomb
Eyes wanting light, light from the world
I curl then my arms and pray in this room

Oh, that someone, that someone, to break down this door
To free then the spirit, to walk on this floor
My loneliness gone, the thing I most pray
May I find another upon whom my love pours
