Nervously
Walked into the room
Reminds me
How I lost my feeling
The last time I fainted
Delightedly
Receiving my birthday gift
Reminds me
How I’d wished for my presents
Anticipatingly
Sat by the phone, waited for ages
How I’d been frozen in shock
When I learned the news
Despairingly
I now sit on the interview chair
Reminds me
How to talk
I blubber but falter
