Munawwar Rana (Urdu : , Hi : ) (born 1952) is an Urdu poet. He is known [ by whom ] to be a sensitive poet who uses Hindi and Awadhi words in the couplets. He is known for his Urdu couplets praising mother. He is considered [ by whom ] to be one of the most successful poets at Mushairas and is popular outside India also.
