The Eleventh Commandment - Lyrics by Bethlehem

Lyrics
(music by bartsch/matton - january 93)(poems by bartsch - december 92)
When the dark lord told me to live
I felt the raised lust of possessionafterwards the death yell of an impaled nine-eyegotten through my dutiful earsi had to think of all the lost creatureswhich strived of their existencein the streaming of my black bloodnocturnal shadows, which glorifiedthe resurrection like trumpetsoffered me the right way into hopelessnessenlighten my path into inaccessible licencebut though a blessed aspiration after mercyfled from the eternal solitudeand discovered the deliverancewith the beauty of a rotten insect.
