Krushna Chandra Kar Biography | Poet

Pandit Krushna Chandra Kar (1907-1995) is a renowned Indian poet and literary critic who has written both in the Oriya and in English. He has authored books on Oriya literature and inspired other writers like Bidyut Prabha Devi and Chakhi Khuntia. He received the Sahitya Academy Award for his contribution to Oriya literature in the year 1971 to 1972. He spent most of his life in Cuttack, Orissa .
