Gone With the Wind
We watched Gone With The Wind, at Christmastime- it was a tradition each year; with my mother and we each had a tear, I used to not like the movie that much; but in time this awesome movie my heart did touch, with scenes that have ever stayed in my mind. Then, I read the story, of loving a man who will never love you back; and marrying in a panic attack, a man you do not love, nor ever will; reading of a woman travelling on a journey uphill, with great courage through hardships and glory. Life lessons in a book, of not giving up no matter how deep the pit; of never being a person to quit, and not caring what people thought or said; still having hope when all is lost and dead, this is a novel not to overlook. ______________________ January 25, 2018 Poetry/Rhyme/Gone With The Wind Copyright Protected, ID 18-9861-35-01 All Rights Reserved.
