How Human We Are
How human we are When chill wind blows, and tempest storms are done, You will find me waiting, when the evening comes. No matter the tears, that we both have shed we'll forget them and rejoice... instead. Chorus Everyday... as the world burns we remember who we are we remember who we are And everyday, are lessons learned? (remember) how human we are (remember) how human we are A generation goes, as another one comes... They'll keep on fighting, like they've always done. They calm their fears, with blood they have shed but hatred lingers, as both bury their dead. Chorus Everyday... as the world burns we remember who we are we remember who we are And everyday, are lessons learned? (remember) how human we are (remember) how human we are Bridge 1 After a lifetimes spent, will we reflect having no regret? We sit and stare in silence, bound forever, and for good... Shared suffering is better, yes, it's better by far... let's not forget... how human we are Chorus Everyday... as the world burns we remember who we are we remember who we are And everyday, are lessons learned? (remember) how human we are (remember) how human we are how human we are how human we are how human we are repeat and fade John Derek Hamilton January 29,2018
