Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required A WEEPING WILLOW MOURNS ~~~~~~ A Weeping Willow Mourns, encouraged by the rain to cry. Tears flow as autumn steals summer life, branches naked. Branches now as whips in winter storms refuse to die. Spring close, its ploy worked, not letting winter know it faked it. Buds held back while winter freezes linger, listening for spring. Rejoycing as days begin to stretch, the sun lasting longer. The day arrives, hark the dawn chorus and bluebells ring. The Weeping Willow no more mourns, verdant, much stronger! It still weeps as moisture turns to dew, its tears, now of joy. Its thoughts don't dwell on what has past, again it has a future. Procreation, it blooms, new life, new generations now its ploy.
