Christmas Cuts
Sorry folks I know it's rough but Christmas Day has been called off, The whole North Pole was sent offshore to call-centers in Bangalore, The toys once made by elven hands are now all made in third world lands, Walmart and Coke and Hallmark too have bought the rights to ‘Christmas 2’, And with focus on their profit goals, the trimming also hit payroll, Santa was laid off today, he keeps his suit and severance pay, And Rudolf’s bells no longer ring, the deer were sold to Burger King; With Brexit planned in just two years, those laid off there are rushing here; As every elf from the North Pole, has moved round here to claim the dole. While things are looking pretty bleak, I hope you enjoy Christmas week, Cos things will be tough next year too, with Easter planned in for phase two…
