My Secret For You
When my soul feels dirty and restless, and I ache for clarity and resolution, is when this secret keeps me breathless; on my heart a crimson stained contusion. My mind races with passion yet confusion. It’s the kind of hush to keep quiet, when all else is noisy and loud- It’s like an outrage or complete riot, in a complicated and thorny crowd. I fear this secret is no longer aloud. It’s the reason I long for conviction, as I pine for reliance and ease- My life may be full of contradiction, and my comfort may begin to cease. So I beg, can you keep my secret please? May you warrant with guarantee, so I can die knowing your vow- I pray that one day you’ll learn to love me, please, someway and somehow. May your affection start now. I’ve thirsted for your intimacy, would die for your touch to save- Oh, if only your blind eyes could see, I have felt all the love you gave. Must I take this secret to my grave? A lonely woman always was I, before I heard the beauty of your words- No matter how darn hard I try, this secret keeps going unheard. Am I starting to sound absurd? When the breeze rushes may you feel, the depth of my love and adoration- This yearning seems so real, like an everlasting sensation. This is my personal declaration. You need not feel the same way, nor act upon this clandestine mystery- You need not find any words to say, in response to this assertion from me... but revealing this secret has set me free.
