As the world wakes and new yet old allegiances abate, the need and desires of nations and leaders lay in fate cemented to embrace the ever living hates. Quiet Americans rarely display their plight silently watching rape of the land and honor in sight diminished long ago in their absent fight relegated reservations where speaking out is right. Why do men fight over oil, gold and dirt assigning its needs as necessary wars to its worth? Time and history seem to never change men's ways denying freedom and equality to every woman and man they slay old ways and patterns resurface everywhere in place each day at so great a cost buried by this great demand to play. The sacrifices of so many lives broken and torn complete the record, the cautiously worded reports forlorn with every new generation even those yet to be born the authenticity questioned and lessons scorned. It seems we never learn that life is more than war can earn.
