This poem is more so a description of what I see, when I look at Americans and how they react to politics... over the last decade.. Why are we so angry over one single dude A womanizer, perhaps, vulgar and crude But at the end of the day, he's only a man A perverted senior citizen with the winning hand A dishonest politician is not a new fad And alternative opinions are not always bad 8 years ago we thought the world was ending Or were convinced of a change, a new beginning I'm still the same Politics still lame My casted vote, indefinitely, pending So, tell me, which side do you take A baby killer or one accused of rape And if you disagree, how should you act Paint vaginas on your face for a presidential attack Grinning ear to ear for a social media snack But it's all roses now, the last one was black Am I making sense, or way off track Please, my neighbors, don't take me wrong I wouldn't breathe a word of our country's song Forget the soldiers, their fame is gone Set fire to our flag and move to Hong Kong No, I don't believe in killing babies or raping women But I've tasted so much, I can't tell pepper from cinnamon If you think you know it all, my darling, you're trippin So can we please just resume the scheduled program of living
