To most of the world, those of us in the west are wealthy beyond imagination. Meanwhile, we struggle to keep bills paid, and wonder why we don't share either. A video of the Louvre is free anywhere, a meal is not for the hungriest of us. A live sporting event may be, access to health care is not. We are all of one species. Of our animals, sometimes thousand of species. Among us, extreme disparities seem to some to be nomalized, yet the dangling carrot for some is a mirage. Utopian held to the hope that mankind could each rise to our best and at the same time look out for others. Could there be a way? As we brace for yet another storm.
