Or that I would never again see, the smile on your face? You left that day, with a smile not a frown, Unbeknownst, our world would come tumbling down. The loss and pain, was purely second to none, When the knowledge hit me, that you had truly gone. The following days, months and years, passed by like a haze, I still feel on occasion, like I'm living in a daze. I miss you more today than yesterday, I'll miss you more tomorrow, My grief is my shadow, I cannot hide my sorrow.
