I hear it splashing off my windowsill, So stay inside, I think I will. It hits the wall with a splash. I hope the wind don’t scatter trash. It's cloudy in the sky above No birds, not even a dove. The sky is black and dark and grey It's going to be a stormy summer day. Sitting by the window just watching it go by. It's as clear as a diamond falling from the sky. It makes puddles in the ground, But can’t help but to like that sound. It’s a gift from God, don’t you know, For the rain is what makes nature grow. We should thank the Lord for every drop. But later we will wish it would stop. So inside I’ll have to stay, Going to be a gloomy day. So, on facebook I will be If you need to talk to me.
