Bad Timing Made Good
Little Lili from Lankenau The prettiest girl I ever saw Tall and lean like a beauty queen Was home from the modeling scene Her hubby getting home very early Spotted a man running and looking burly He wondered why the man was scantily clad And why he was running and looking mad Thinking his wife was too shrewd to cheat He figured the guy just wanted to beat the heat, And was just a salesman in a frantic hurry He figured he really had no reason to worry He entered the abode intending to flatter And whatever she said would not even matter Lili, looking like a kid committing a crime Told her hubby he was lucky to be just in time Ten minutes ago her blouse was half undone Now she was hooked up like your average nun Trying to change the subject before it arose She showed him a poem she once composed
