Where Have All the Flowers Gone
It's 2087; He is not here, yet; And there isn't, there no mention of His love; The love, the love of Christ; He's yet come; And Adorned me He has shown me things; Such beautiful things But He hasn't come back yet? Well, the skies are reddish, and the trees have grown small; The bird's all the robin's have left their nest's; And as the eagle cries from its breasts; Where have the children gone; Where is mankind, after the flood; And what's he gonna do in the fire; Where is the promise? Where have all the flowers gone? Where have all the flowers gone? Where did they go Lord? It just seems to me To be a mystery! I just wanna be save in His arms; It's 2162 And the air is not here, not breathable; No one, nobody cares; Babies are created through automatic breathing machines; Hope is less than projected, well; The skies are red; Most people are dead! Where has the green gone it's no longer seen; What does it mean, the birds have left their nest's; As the eagle cries from his breast; Where have all the children gone; Where is mankind after the flood; Where is this mention of love; Where have all the flowers gone; (From the anthology "Inspired Too" August 31 2011(c). )
