Wrenched from obscurity and raised above all others, I bathed in your glory, subservient to your whims. Symbiotic relationship did flourish 'til betrayal's brutal blade struck mortal blow. Grievous crimson gash gouged straight through my heart; this wound so far beyond suture to ever mend. Mournful melodies replaced euphoric harmonies as once-exquisite veneer cracked and peeled away.
