Together Forever
Hey, Hi, how Are you? You don’t know me do ya? Boy, how soon they forget! Well. I remember those nights when I would cozy all up to you. Sorry, I left you no room at all. It just felt so good and I was tired. When did you get here? I’ve been here a little while, time is different here, well, time was always different for me. I’m really glad to see you, I’ve missed you. Still don’t know me? I used to love the way you’d stroke me and always made me feel so safe. Only you could rub my ears just the way I liked. I want you to know that I had a wonderful time with you. Couldn’t have been better. All right, it’s me Hudson. I know, I look different but it’s me, we all look the same here, all of us, me and you and every last soul. And the best part, together forever! C'mon let’s get a treat. Written for my Golden Retriever, Hudson, lost to cancer but surely to be held again.
