Take My Hand
A lover's presence is always welcome here. Hear me, and see me as I am, always. For my dance comes from that sacred place. It dwells in us all, don't you know? We are so much more than we know, Sometimes we fall and can't find our way. Though love comes along and saves the day. Love comes in many forms, like rainbow-colored lips. So kiss me and tell me you love me always and forever. My heart beats for all that is good and kind in you. Maybe someday you'll notice my face in the clouds. Sometimes feelings get pushed into the shadows. We escape into illusions thru our rose-colored glasses. Then we only see things through mindless wanderings. As our egos are never content to stay in one place for long. There is deceptiveness as our eyes keep us from loving fully. For I know you do not have to welcome me into your life. If you do not like what your heart hears or sees in me. Though I ask this of you, come take my hand. Let us see where the day takes us. old poem 4/ 6 / 2013 1: pm
