The Askance Chapter 1 Part 5b
“Our time belongs not for the choosing Beyond all doubt, weathers yet withers all reasoning I am only to speak from your unfounded sorrows Serving the bearer, a beginning towards a beginning to every a morrow A dream belongs in every reality, alike reality to belong a dream Atween is where we stand, believing and disbelieving to seem One’s thought reads uncertain yet eager to believe Burning your every desire to seek for serene relief And yearning in silence, fear awaits to be tempered Comfort oneself where tranquility will eventually be heard There is still much to learn before you can truly be awaken For an end to begin is where truly lies the unforeseen distance Remember well, naïve one… the call of yore awaits its bearer Alike the fate of a faithful servant, awaiting his humble master” I was mesmerized, rather mystified even Of the language he utter, was of those an ancient tongue With the darkness gone, I’m left torn and broken How much more to be, might a fragile soul be left undone As harmless as he may be, I shouldn’t be afraid Only he belongs the dark creature of my delusive dreams However absurd, I know it is a long while that he has to await To finally appear before me, from darkness within I decidedly named him from a book once read ‘The Askance’ being the bringer of forbidden enigma He will return once more I gather, to have answers met Till then, let the time of dreamless reality be afar ……………………………………………
