Atheist
5/8/17 To each their own We reap what we sow Actually by the land or sea During cold and heat Truth and wisdom is what I seek I'm not a cheat Or attempting deceit I truly speak From the heart, hoping to help or teach On this very date I can not relate To what books on religions state It's like a leech Sheesh Towards me do not push your religious beliefs I do not believe there is a place in space or down beneath If such things existed, then why have they always been out of reach? And why must it incessantly be preached That the only way to find out is by being deceased? If only such nonsense would just cease What a joke, I can still find peace And relief Even after having little to eat and no sleep I just can't follow all the sheep Go ahead and call me a freak I look at others that claim god makes their life complete Probably in the same way there looking at me, whether obvious or discrete You're going off of leaps And the theory is not concrete It's got too many holes and leaks I'd burn it all above mesquite Then bury it deep So that it never again sees the light of day, and hopefully becomes obsolete Could there be a better time for turning over a new leaf?
